The San Francisco Heart Institute researchers have published more than 500 abstracts, articles and book chapters on the pharmaceutical and mechanical treatment of cardiac disease. Research has also focused on treatment and long-term outcomes relating to the ethinic origin of patients.

The Journal of Invasive Cardiology, a peer-reviewed medical journal, is edited by the faculty at the San Francisco Heart Institute.
